Social bookmarking sites allow teachers and students to bookmark and share Web resources. With a common account and/or tagging system, social bookmarking sites enable multiple users to pool their resources.

Social bookmarking sites including Delicious or Zootool help teachers and students to create common collections of Web-based resources. By creating a class account with a social bookmarking service, contributors can add resources through any Web browser. Many of these services are searchable.
